Forest Hill Manor is owned and operated by California-Nevada Methodist Homes and was incorporated in 1954 as a not-for-profit, non-denominational Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). It is a member of LeadingAge.org (formerly AAHSA – American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) and Aging Services of California (ASC). Forest Hill Manor is accredited through the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, an independent accrediting body of CARF/CCAC. This accreditation is widely recognized as the gold standard of quality for Continuing Care Retirement Communities, which means that the community has met or exceeded the high standards fro excellence in services, programs, financial stability, facilities and health care as agreed upon by LeadingAge members. While the total membership of LeadingAge exceeds 5,500 nationwide, less than 10% of the members are fully accredited Continuing Care Retirement Communities which places Forest Hill Manor among the very best in the country.
